The Pudding Run: An Award-Nominated Marketing Campaign That Put Yorkshire Hospitality on the Map
We set out to do more than tell people what Cedar Court Hotels stands for, we wanted to show it. With a Yorkshire pudding wrap in one hand and our passion for Proper Yorkshire Hospitality in the other, we launched The Pudding Run: a mobile roadshow campaign built on connection, creativity, and community.
And the results? We’re proud to share that The Pudding Run has been nominated for Marketing Campaign of the Year at the Famtastic Awards 2025.
What Is The Pudding Run?
The Pudding Run marketing campaign was born out of a simple but bold idea: bring the Cedar Court Hotels experience directly to agents, corporate planners, and event professionals; on their own turf.
We hit the road across the UK with our partners at The Yorkshire Wrapper, serving hot Yorkshire pudding wraps alongside venue brochures, exclusive offers, and authentic face-to-face conversations.
From Bradford to Birmingham, Harrogate to Hull, the Cedar Court team travelled with purpose, reconnecting with existing clients, meeting new ones, and building genuine relationships rooted in warmth, personality, and (of course) gravy.

From the Road to the Stage
The Pudding Run made its mark at key industry events, most notably The Meetings Show, where our team served up triple Cedar Rewards points and Yorkshire pudding wraps as part of a high-impact incentive push.
We also hosted exclusive pop-ups at our own venues, including a two-course “Best of British” lunch event in Harrogate, giving guests a deeper experience of our hotel transformations, refurbished spaces, and hospitality ethos.
