Cedar Court Hotels Launch a New Era of Culture & Inclusion

In hospitality, unforgettable experiences don’t start with buildings, bars, or bedrooms, they start with people. At Cedar Court Hotels, creating a workplace where every individual feels they belong isn’t just a statement, it’s a movement. This year, that movement took a bold step forward.
This September marked a milestone moment: the launch of our first Culture Summit and the introduction of our new Culture Ambassadors, representing teams from across all of our hotels. Together, they’re driving the change that ensures every voice here is heard, respected, and supported.

More Than a Policy — A Culture in Action

Since the launch, our teams have led over 16 engagement events, celebrating cultural identity, wellbeing, and the diversity that strengthens us.

We’ve proudly recognised and brought awareness to:
• National Inclusion Week — celebrating individuality and respect
• National Housekeeping Week — shining a spotlight on the heart of our hotels
• World Mental Health Day — creating safe spaces for open conversations
• Yom Kippur — a moment of reflection and understanding
• World Menopause Day — breaking stigma through shared experience
• Diwali: Festival of Light — celebrating colour, joy, and togetherness

 

Each event has opened understanding and strengthened connection between colleagues, and even with guests who have joined the activities within our hotels.

Introducing InclusiviTEA

Hospitality is what we do best, and sometimes the most meaningful conversations happen over a cuppa.
Our InclusiviTEA events give teams a safe, relaxed space to:

✔ learn from one another
✔ challenge assumptions
✔ build real empathy

From menopause quizzes to faith and festival learning, teams are leading these discussions with passion, helping to shape a workplace future where inclusion isn’t an initiative, it’s everyday behaviour.
