As the month of October is slowly drawing to the end, we can look forward to another pre-Christmas celebration. Oh yes, the much-loved Bonfire Night will be back this year across the county. We wanted to throw a spotlight on the top places in Yorkshire to come and warm up by bonfire or watch the magnificent light and firework displays.

 

Musical Fireworks Spectacular Sledmere House

This is the event we’ve all been waiting for and this year it’s going to be the best Musical Fireworks Spectacular yet! Bradford is #LiT

Bradford is #LiT is a district-wide festival of light in Bradford city centre. Working with a select group of local and national artists, the festival will bring Bradford to life with an outstanding programme of unique light installations and provide a fun, alternative family offer this Bonfire Night weekend.

Thornton Hall Country Park

Harrogate Stray Bonfire

The Stray Bonfire is coming back this November following a recent approval from Harrogate. The Stray Bonfire is an annual event organised entirely by volunteers from the Harrogate District Round Table.  They had to postpone their 50th annual stray bonfire in 2020 due to Government restrictions.

Spooky Fireworks Spectacular, Doncaster Racecourse

This spooktacular family night out begins at 4pm and we’re laying on some great entertainment for all ages throughout the evening to make your family night really fizz and pop. At 7.45pm the pyrotechnics team will unleash the HUGE firework fiesta featuring a dazzling display of rockets, Catherine wheels, fountains and more.

Leeds City Council Public Bonfires

The much-loved bonfire night with amazing firework displays is celebrated in various parks across the city of Leeds. Cosy up with hot chocolate and watch the amazing firework displays in Roundhay Park, East End Park, Woodhouse Moor, Springhead Park Middleton Park or Bramley Park.

Ponderosa Zoo

Wrap up warm and join us at Lakeside for a Bonfire Night to remember! There will be a Madagascar themed bonfire and bang-less firework display! The fireworks will be silent to ensure all our animals are kept safe, but we can guarantee an explosive time as the display will be set to music from the film Madagascar.  Celebrate with fairground rides and a delicious food court.
