Welcome to The Cedar Court Gym, we would like you to enjoy our facilities and always remain safe.
You are primarily responsible for your health and wellbeing, but. To that end we consider that we should expect the following of each other.

You warrant, declare and acknowledge that:

1. This Gym is an Unmanned facility which is monitored by CCTV.
2. The information given by you, regarding your current health, fitness, and wellbeing in entering this agreement is correct and will be relied upon by us.
3. Our staff are NOT medically trained, and should you have any concerns with your health, fitness or wellbeing you should seek independent medical advice before engaging in any physical activity on our premises.
4. By signing this document, you are confirming, to the best of your knowledge and belief you are in good health and not knowingly incapable of engaging in either active or passive exercise and that such exercise would not be detrimental to your health, safety, comfort, wellbeing or physical condition.
5. By signing this document, you are confirming, you have read, understood and accept all of its the Terms and Conditions.
6. This agreement will become binding by both parties once you have read and signed the “I confirm that I have read and agree to The Cedar Court Member/Residents Health Agreement”.
7. If you have a medical condition which will benefit from regular exercise, by signing this document you are confirming that your GP has signed this off and recorded this on your medical records.

From us:

• We shall endeavour to maintain a safe & secure environment for you to enjoy your exercise, including the provision of CCTV, fob access and panic alarm in-case of emergency.
• We shall at all times keep confidential any information that you give us regarding your health.
• The Hotel is manned 24 hours with fire safety and first aid provisions. If the panic or fire alarms are raised, these will be reacted to immediately.

Should you find any of the equipment or facilities not in full working order or how you would expect it to be, please report this to the Hotel Guest Service Team at the main hotel reception desk.

If you are a wheelchair user or need assisted access, we require you to have an induction in our gym to ensure your safe use of our facilities. At this induction you will need to complete a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP) with the Hotel Management which will be kept for our records. Members/Residents must contact the Hotel Management team to book this induction.
