Introducing Kota Harrogate: A New Summer Social Space at Cedar Court Harrogate

Something new is arriving at Cedar Court Harrogate this summer.

Hidden within the hotel grounds, Kota Harrogate is our brand-new seasonal social space designed for relaxed evenings, shared experiences and memorable summer nights.

Inspired by a traditional Finnish shelter where people gather together, Kota takes its name from Nordic culture and the idea of warmth, connection and community. Reimagined with a Yorkshire spirit, the space has been created as a hidden gem for food-led socials, live music and laid-back experiences that feel a little different from the usual.

Launching for a limited season across the summer, Kota will host a curated calendar of events designed around gathering, sharing and enjoying good company. Guests can expect everything from Tapas & Cava nights and Mediterranean Mezze evenings to Bottomless Brunch, Pizza & Prosecco socials, live acoustic music and the brand-new Kota Comedy Club.

The atmosphere inside Kota is all about relaxed social energy. Warm lighting, acoustic sounds, flowing drinks and comfortable surroundings come together to create a setting made for catching up with friends, date nights, celebrations and discovering something new in Harrogate.

Alongside the summer socials, Kota will also play host to themed evenings including Stateside Social nights and Yorkshire-inspired Tapas experiences during Great Yorkshire Show week, helping bring even more flavour and atmosphere to Harrogate’s summer calendar.

Designed as a limited-time concept before closing again for autumn and winter, Kota is all about enjoying the season while it lasts.
